The infallibility of the Bible

In the Revival Fellowship, the Bible is the source of all our doctrine. We have total confidence that the Bible is the inspired Word of God.

There is abundant evidence to support the Bible’s claim of divine inspiration – “All scripture is given by inspiration of God …” (2 Timothy 3:16). For example, there is overwhelming data from archaeology confirming the historical accuracy of the Scriptures. Dr Nelson Gluek, an authority on Israeli archaeology, stated:
“No archaeological discovery has ever controverted a Biblical reference. Scores of archaeological findings have been made which confirm in clear outline or in exact detail historical statements in the Bible. And, by the same token, proper evaluation of Biblical descriptions has often led to amazing discoveries.” Similarly, the numerous prophecies stated in the Bible of events from the distant past to the present have been fulfilled accurately and in amazing detail.

For example, in approximately 700BC, Isaiah prophesied the moving of the Egyptian idols and the construction of the Aswan High Dam (Isaiah: 19), both of which occurred in the second half of this century. The same prophet made statements about the miraculous way in which the Jews would again possess Jerusalem (Isaiah 31:5). These prophecies were fulfilled in 1917 AD.

More striking evidence of divine authorship came from the investigations of a Russian mathematician in the late nineteenth century. Ivan Panin, then an atheist, discovered that the Biblical text had intricate, unreproduceable numerical patterns which clearly demonstrated that the Bible could only have been created by God.
Although the Bible is a collection of 66 books, written by more than 40 authors – kings, fishermen, physicians, military leaders, tax collectors, farmers and a host of others – over a period of approximately 2,000 years; the numerical seal alone confirms that it is clearly one Book, with perfect unity and consistency throughout.

Further proof that the Bible is the Word of God is found in the fact that many of the principles of modern science were recorded in the Bible long before scientists discovered and verified them. Until Piccard’s Bathyscaph in this century, none knew of the presence of fresh-water springs in the world’s ocean depths. Yet the author of Job spoke of them many hundreds of years before the birth of Christ.
However, the most exciting, satisfying and conclusive evidence that the Bible is true is that any person may enter into a promised personal relationship with the Lord God.

This experience starts with water baptism and receiving the Holy Spirit with the accompanying signs (Mark 16: 15-20). Multitudes of people have been wonderfully filled with the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues. They have been healed, comforted, delivered, protected and provided for by God’s power.
The Word of God miraculously changes lives. We would all be wise to accept the Bible as the inspired Word of God and diligently follow its teachings.

Revival Centres of Papua New Guinea

Revival Centres of Papua New Guinea Church was first established on the 01st of September 1982 in the remote Karaite village of Lumi District, Sandaun (West Sepik) province. The fellowship started when the first nine (9) people from Karaite village, were converted and got baptised (by full immersion) and received the Holy Spirit, with the Biblical evidence of Speaking in Tongues.

Revival Fellowships

The Revival Fellowship teaches that one receives salvation by repentance, water baptism by full immersion, and the receiving of the Holy Spirit. They preach the outward manifestation of a person who is filled with the Holy Spirit is to be found in the biblical experience of "speaking in tongues" as seen in Acts 2:4, Acts10:44.

To repent is to repair a wrong. The Bible tells us that there is none righteous (Romans 3:10). Having gone your own way, you have sinned, but now you have turned to Jesus Christ and have admitted or confessed this sin. The forgiveness of God is assured (1 John 1:9).
Your restoration through the favour of a loving God is found through obedience. To be baptised is command of Jesus Christ (Matthew 28:19). The Bible teaching on Baptism is believers immersion, as illustrated throughout the world, and is not to be confused with unscriptural practice of sprinkling or christening. Baptism is a commandment to all believers (Acts 2:38). It is also evidence of true repentance and a good conscience towards God. (1 Peter 3:21).
You are promised a wonderful experience with your Saviour. He will baptise you with the Holy Ghost and fire…. (Matthew 3:11). You are encouraged to receive this power (Luke 11:9-13). By reading and believing the many accounts of the Holy Spirit in the early Church, you will find great faith to claim this experience. You will speak in tongues as promised to all believers (Mark 16:17).

REVIVAL CENTRES PNG
Revival Centres Of Papua New Guinea (RCPNG) is a pentecostal church. We are affiliated with Revival Fellowships worldwide. We preach Salvation Message as found in the book Acts chapter 2 verse 38. We emphasise on the necessity for one to be born-again of water and the Holy Spirit. RCPNG accentuate all believers to Repent, Be Baptised and Receive the Holy Spirit. John 3:5, Unless a man is born again of water and the Holy Spirit, he cannot enter into the Kingdom of God. In the Gospel of John, chapter 3 and verse 3 to 5, Jesus Christ the son of God Himself, emphasizes on the need for all believers to go through the Born-Again experience. .
HOW IT BEGAN
Revival Centres Of PNG Church, started in a remote village called Karaite, Lumi District of Sandaun Province. Revival Fellowship in Papua New Guinea is headed by Principal Pastor Godfrey Wippon. We have twenty two (22) Provincial Pastors who administer and coordinate church work in the twenty two provinces of PNG. Church work in provinces can be found under Assemblies.
MIRACLES ARE FOR TODAY
A prominent phenomena inside our fellowship is the manifestations of the Holy Spirit. When believers are being baptised, they come out from the waters of baptism and receive the Holy Spirit, with Biblical evidence of Speaking In Tongues (Acts 19:2-6). Another consequential event is Divine Healing Power of God. A good number of our congregation members are people who were miraculously healed from all kinds of sicknesses. You can read their testimonies here.
