YOU MUST REPENT

You Must Repent

To repent is to repair a wrong. The Bible tells us that there is none righteous (Romans 3:10). Having gone your own way, you have sinned, but now you have turned to Jesus Christ and have admitted or confessed this sin. The forgiveness of God is assured (1 John 1:9).

Many people all over the world today always make changes to everything they want in their lives – Change their homes, jobs, professions, lifestyles and the list goes on. They change for the better or for worse even try to change their attitudes.
How can we change? Who only is able to change us?

Let’s answer the first question first: How can we change?
Even the Bible declares that those who are taught to do evil cannot change themselves to do good, just as we cannot change the colour of our skin, nor a leopard his spots (JEREMIAH 13:23). The problem lies deep in our hearts (JEREMIAH 17:9) “The heart is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked” Spiritually speaking we are doomed unless we can get a new heart. (ROMANS 3:10) (ROMANS 6:23)

In the book of Acts, Chapter 2, verses 38, Peter said: “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost, for the promise is unto you and to your children (timing) and to all that are afar off."

There is hope in EZEKIEL 36:26; God promises “A new heart will I give you and a new spirit will I put within you and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an obedient heart.”

Revival Centres of Papua New Guinea

Revival Centres of Papua New Guinea Church was first established on the 01st of September 1982 in the remote Karaite village of Lumi District, Sandaun (West Sepik) province. The fellowship started when the first nine (9) people from Karaite village, were converted and got baptised (by full immersion) and received the Holy Spirit, with the Biblical evidence of Speaking in Tongues.

Revival Fellowships

The Revival Fellowship teaches that one receives salvation by repentance, water baptism by full immersion, and the receiving of the Holy Spirit. They preach the outward manifestation of a person who is filled with the Holy Spirit is to be found in the biblical experience of "speaking in tongues" as seen in Acts 2:4, Acts10:44.

Your restoration through the favour of a loving God is found through obedience. To be baptised is command of Jesus Christ (Matthew 28:19). The Bible teaching on Baptism is believers immersion, as illustrated throughout the world, and is not to be confused with unscriptural practice of sprinkling or christening. Baptism is a commandment to all believers (Acts 2:38). It is also evidence of true repentance and a good conscience towards God. (1 Peter 3:21).
You are promised a wonderful experience with your Saviour. He will baptise you with the Holy Ghost and fire…. (Matthew 3:11). You are encouraged to receive this power (Luke 11:9-13). By reading and believing the many accounts of the Holy Spirit in the early Church, you will find great faith to claim this experience. You will speak in tongues as promised to all believers (Mark 16:17).

REVIVAL CENTRES PNG
Revival Centres Of Papua New Guinea (RCPNG) is a pentecostal church. We are affiliated with Revival Fellowships worldwide. We preach Salvation Message as found in the book Acts chapter 2 verse 38. We emphasise on the necessity for one to be born-again of water and the Holy Spirit. RCPNG accentuate all believers to Repent, Be Baptised and Receive the Holy Spirit. John 3:5, Unless a man is born again of water and the Holy Spirit, he cannot enter into the Kingdom of God. In the Gospel of John, chapter 3 and verse 3 to 5, Jesus Christ the son of God Himself, emphasizes on the need for all believers to go through the Born-Again experience. .

MIRACLES ARE FOR TODAY
A prominent phenomena inside our fellowship is the manifestations of the Holy Spirit. When believers are being baptised, they come out from the waters of baptism and receive the Holy Spirit, with Biblical evidence of Speaking In Tongues (Acts 19:2-6). Another consequential event is Divine Healing Power of God. A good number of our congregation members are people who were miraculously healed from all kinds of sicknesses. You can read their testimonies here.
